Welcome to our 10th floor, spacious 900 sq ft. loft located in the prime Historic Core of downtown Los Angeles. It's situated close to the Metro station and Pershing Square, less than two blocks away from Grand Central Market and the Last Bookstore, and within walking distance to Broadway theaters and other amazing locations such as Little Tokyo and Restaurant Row. (28 days max stay; no check-in or check-out on these dates: Nov 28, Dec 24, 25, 31, Jan 1.) We purchased this property in 2018. All furniture is new or vintage. Newly finished concrete floors & updated kitchen. We get very few rentals through this site but have 40+ 5 star reviews on another. Space Enjoy a quieter experience of DTLA as well as gorgeous views from the 10th floor of this Beaux Arts building built in 1923. Or open all the windows and balcony to embrace the street noise that makes the urban environment come alive! Take advantage of the fully stocked kitchen with its full size appliances, and relax in the huge bathtub that is practically big enough for two! The bedroom doesn't have a door but is situated in an alcove giving privacy away from the rest of the loft, furnished with a large wardrobe for those staying longer. Use the ventless compact washer and dryer in the unit; alternatively you can use the coin operated ones in the building for larger loads (or if you need a quicker drying time). Put your feet up on the coffee table and take in the view, or watch Netflix and Amazon on the 32" television. Air conditioning and heating allow for a perfect temperature zone. There's a work out room on the Mezzanine level. Don't forget your swimsuits so you can head up to the roof and enjoy the swimming pool and spa. Small dogs are welcome as well, but only the kind that will go with you wherever you do. They should not be left alone in the loft. Only the people renting this loft are allowed in the loft. No parties or groups. Guest access The entire unit is yours to enjoy (except for a small cabinet above the refrigerator)! By being on the 10th floor, with only one shared wall, you will thoroughly enjoy the unexpected peacefulness and tranquility while still being the center of it all. Guest interaction I will not be on the premises but will be available by cell for any issues. Neighborhood overview DTLA is a thriving community and very diverse. Everyday something new introduces itself, from a new art installation to a fabulous restaurant. Guests with all types of budgets can enjoy DTLA. Those coming to visit will not experience a dull moment! DTLA is home to thousands of working professionals and families of all ages. It is also home to those who live on the streets. The Historic Core has its fair share of homeless, and their presence could be surprising to many who haven't spent much time in an urban downtown environment. However, in this particular part of downtown, it is not considered to be unsafe. Plenty of people take to the streets day and night, and the homeless who may be unstable or mentally ill still seem to keep to themselves without being harassing. There is a good police presence. However, it's important to be smart, aware and alert of your surroundings at all times. Getting around The best way to enjoy DTLA is without a car! Navigating through DTLA streets only makes for aggravation, and parking prices everywhere are steep. Enjoy using public transportation -- Pasadena, Hollywood, Santa Monica -- each accessible by a Metro train ride! Bring some comfy shoes and enjoy all the little shops and amazing food everywhere. If you choose to drive in, Pershing Sq. Parking is less than a block away (across the street) and is $16 for overnight parking.
