Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The hosts were very helpful, they gave it their best to make sure we check-in seamlessly, and they were also very responsive and quick to answer all our questions. Besides that, the location is amazing, very close to Istiklal street, Galata tower, very good surroundings.

Negative: Since we came in winter, I was expecting the house to be pre-warmed for us, but we entered in an ice cold apartment and had to wait for a day for it to heat up to normal temperature. Also the AC is failing from time to time. The photos of the apartment are very misleading. It all looks nice, but it doesn’t show that out of the 65 m2 as written in the description, 40 m2 is the terrace and the apartment is very small for 2 people. There is no room to open the suitcases, the ceiling is too low in one of the rooms, and also the bed is actually just a matress laying on some wooden beams on the floor (although comfortable). Living room light didn’t work, the other light was broken, the kitchen window can’t be fully closed, and also the door of the cupboard where the boiler is situated is falling off. And finally cleanliness was not on point. On our last night we saw that there were bed bugs, and also the floor beneath the bed was dusty.
