Summary: The beautiful and tranquil island of Şövalye is a wonderful place to experience the Mediterranean Turkish coast, but the owners and operators of Şövalye Otel make it truly memorable. We stayed during shoulder season (late May), and were absolutely spoiled by Kemal and Ersin. Ersin handled our dietary restrictions with ease (vegetarian, gluten-free) and came up with delicious home-cooked meals with fresh vegetables - definitely try the cheese pancakes! Kemal is very knowledgeable about the area, helped us arrange transportation to Dalaman Airport, and was very patient with two introverts who mostly chose to explore the island and read in the fresh air. I'm sure we only experienced a small portion of his knowledge and logistical skill. If you're looking for a peaceful spot that still has access to lots of activities in Fethiye and beyond, I cannot recommend this hotel more highly!
