Our property is set well back from a little-traveled road, leaving you in a sunny opening in the midst of a beautiful collection of soaring pines and firs. Neighbors cannot be seen, nor heard. The house overlooks Judd Creek from our large deck. The house is modern, but homey and warm with a large skylight over the open plan living room, dining room, and kitchen. The three bedrooms each look out to the gorgeous surrounding forest.
The house has three bedrooms, one with a king bed looking out through glass doors to the deck and the woods beyond. The second has a queen bed and a view of the front garden. The third is smaller, but also has a queen bed with a view of the woods.
The kitchen is new and features top of the line appliances, concrete countertops and cabinets by Henrybuilt. The living room features a raised hearth fireplace and new furniture. Both the living room and kitchen have walls of glass that look out on the deck and the woods beyond. We have a full glass tiled slate bathroom and a large soaking tub, which offers a beautiful view of the woods. The shower is also glass, offering a "bathing outdoors" experience.
There is a fire pit area with table and chairs, horseshoe pits in the middle of the lawn, a flower-covered gazebo for coffee in the am, and extensive lawns and garden surrounding the house. Pets are welcome and usually happy to roam the woods endlessly. A gentle path leads you down the bank to the creek, where a dip on a hot summer day can be fun. The deck is large, with a beautiful view overlooking the hillside and the creek and our birdwatching is unbeatable.
Our property is 5 acres total which includes several hiking trails around the property and down to Judd Creek. Guests have full and secluded access to the entire property as no one is living there at this time.

Our small island is bursting with activities and enthusiasm. Fine dining, fun shopping in artists' studios, artisanal products, local produce and farmer's markets are available year round. Vashon's many beaches, parks, trails and historic landmarks are close by and easy to find.
