The beach is just below and you can hear the surf. Hike a trail down to enjoy this secluded shoreline with snorkeling, or you can drive around to it with equipment / picnic supplies in 2 minutes. All beaches on St. Lucia are public property, but Anse Galet has no commercial or residential development on it. It is usual to have it entirely to yourself (but on occasion, there will be the odd party / get-together; in which case, be prepared for some local music).
